On My Bookshelf

12 Apr

As I mentioned before, I read a lot. I love to read. For me it is the only time I can get away from everything else that is going on and give my mind a little mini vacation. Typically, I check out books from the library because I like to support the libraries in my area and because it is fun to get to know my community. My mom was one of those ladies you hated to be behind because each of her kids had library cards and we were each allowed to check out 15 books!!! It was a long wait if you were behind us! So without further ado…a peak into my life and my bookshelf.

Baked Explorations-Mattt Lewis & Renato Poliafito

Random Fact: Looking at food makes me feel less stressed.

Not Your Mother’s Casseroles-Faith Durand

I love Casseroles always have especially my mom’s so this book has got be good. I totally judged this book by the cover! Busted!

The Price of Everything-Eduardo Porter

I don’t typically read non-fiction but I love the books about price and shopper’s mentality. Geek side…coming out.

How to Shop for Free-Kathy Spencer

Umm…what is not to love about this book.

Something Borrowed-Emily Giffin

Something girlie..because it is fun and because I am a girl and chick lit is necessary for my sanity sometimes.
