I have never been a purse girl. I know so sad but it is true. I like to consider myself a fanny pack travel light babe. Too bad fanny packs haven’t come back yet! I have searched all my favorite stores, I have dug through countless clearance bins but it was all for nothing. I am very picky when it comes to purses because it has to been just right.
After six months I was really getting tired of carrying just my wallet in the store something had to be done. So I went into my craft room and told myself I couldn’t come out till I made a purse. Sometimes you just have to toss the clock out and get down to business…no distractions. I found this great tutorial on Obsessive Crafting Disorder and got to work.
This is what came out of some “scraps” I found in my craft room and I love it!!! I used an old belt that I wasn’t going to use to make the strap on the bag and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The strap is long enough to look classy and no casual. I love it!
