My darling Darcy

5 Mar

This is Darcy. She is the reason that must of my time has been spent outside rather than inside cleaning and doing chores. We went to the pound just to “look around” (that’s what Mr. Snail said). Well as we were looking around we met this little cutie. The pound was abounding with noise from the other dogs barking, wailing and scratching their kennels. This little beauty was laying in her bed shaking. As we approached the cage she got up and licked Mr. Snail’s hand (that was the finishing blow). We took her on a little walk and came back to the shelter with ear to ear smiles (all three of us!)

While we were filing out paperwork, our new puppy was undergoing her final examination. They cleared us as adequate parents and our four legged  friend got her clean bill of health. They carried her through the waiting room through murmuring of “what a cute dog” and placed her in my arms. The attendant smiled and said “congratulations”. I would be lying to you if I said that my eyes didn’t tear up.

You are so cute Laura…now she needs a cute little dress or something…another project, and just think of the cute dog bed…maybe out of a fun vintage suitcase….the possibilities are limitless:)

Oh what a great idea with the suitcase!!! You are a genius! Good think you use your powers for good. I am going to start working on the suitcase idea.

      Have an incredible day!

Her white tip tail is one of her best features. I tell Mr. Snail that it looks like God dipped her tail in white paint and forgot to wipe it off. Her tail is hypnotizing she wags it.

Awww…she is so adorable. Pet pics make me smile. 🙂
Darcy has a good home now, she can count her blessings. Congrats!

Oh I think she added to our home. We just love her. Mr. Snail didn’t think he would like a little dog but now he is in love and that changes everything.
